The "Batman" nickname debuted in 2013, inspired by the watch's striking two-tone ceramic bezel. The split black and blue mirrors the dark, moody aesthetic of DC Comics' Caped Crusader, specifically his portrayal in the "Dark Knight" era.
The Batman was particularly significant because it featured the world’s first single-piece ceramic bezel created in two different colours, a feat of engineering that many thought was impossible at the time.
